Well, good evening, my dear readers. I hope you're feeling well. Myself, I'm a little tired and out of sorts I'm afraid. I've unfortunately been having "One of Those Days". I know that "One of Those Days" has a different definition from person to person, in fact I myself have several different kinds of "One of Those Days". The particular kind of "One of Those Days" I found myself in was not the usual kind, that is, those days when you find that the Universe itself seems out to personally sabotage any chance you have of attaining happiness that day. It was rather one of those days when you find that you are personally out to sabotage any chance you have of attaining happiness that day.
To elaborate, it was one of those horrible days when every time you open your mouth you seem to say something you don't mean to, every time you move or walk it seems to be awkward or under confident and everything anyone says either upsets you or frightens you. I'm not sure that this is a universal phenomenon as I've never really discussed it with anyone else or if it's something personal to me, if the latter, I apologise for boring you with an experience so particular to me.
Personally, I think I hate these type of "One of Those Days" than the other ones; the ones that feel like the world is out to get you. On those days at least you can have a feeling of rebellion and martyrdom against the unfairness of the Universe; you can metaphorically spit in the world's face. However, on these "One of Those Days" all you can do is try not to start too many conversations, use as few movements as possible and hope and pray that it blows over by tomorrow.
I don't like these days at all, partly because I think that, when I was young, my entire life consisted of them; I had to wait until high school before my confidence grew enough. That and I think that it makes me even more unfocussed and lazy. But probably the worst thing of all is not knowing whether all I'm saying and doing is wrong or whether it's all in my head.
Wow, looking back over this I've just realised how self-centred it is. I didn't mean to bore you with my personal problems, but then again, I suppose that this blog for me is really just an inexpensive alternative to therapy. I'm terribly self-conscious that these posts are far too personal and dull to mean anything to anyone else, but I'm afraid that the only thing I really have to offer is myself.
Anyway, on the bright side I dare say all this walking home from school is having a (barely) noticeable effect on my waistline. It's by no means a massive change and I am still built like a beanbag, but my torso is now beginning to look vaguely human as opposed to like a walrus. I realise that this change may well be in my head, but considering my entire "One of Those Days" problem may too be inside my head, I feel I deserve to enjoy something that my subconscious is saying about me.
Anyway, I'm afraid I must say goodbye yet again and wish you a good night and no more "One of Those Days".
