Tight Clothes for my Cousin

Hello and welcome to the late night edition of The Chronicles of Joseph Black! I imagine that while I'm writing this most of you will be tucked up in bed dreaming about me. Perhaps I'll be riding a white stallion in a meadow, perhaps bullfighting, perhaps a superhero saving you from certain death.

Anyway, thus concludes my first day of doing absolutely nothing in I don't know how long. Oh yes, three days, it seems so much more. Well, many exciting things happened today. I finished Ico, getting that warm awesome feeling that such an amazing game elicits. I stumbled for an hour or so and, my favourite activity on a Saturday evening, watched a series of shows on ITV about people falling over and injuring themselves in suitably cringe worthy ways - Total Wipeout and You've Been Framed.

I also visited my dear cousin Charlie for his 14th birthday, however unfortunately I can't really say much about that as my aunt is known to read this blog. Suffice to say I had a lovely time and ate way too much of everyone else's pizza.

Really though, there wasn't that much to write about. We ate some pizza, talked about home life and gave my Charlie some more of the tight clothing that he seems to love so much.

I must say that the stress of University is building up again in my mind. I still don't know which one to apply to and I still don't know what grades I'll receive at the end of this year. It seems like I'm being tossed into a very, very big ocean with no land in sight.

Anyway, I'm not here to bore you with my problems, but rather to interest you, entertain you and to generally tickle your fancies. So, enough of my blatherings, until tomorrow, good day.

  1. Try not to worry so Joe, academia is calling you and you are not too far away now. Visit the Universities that run the courses you are interested in and then choose by gut instinct, rank them 1 to 6 (I believe UCAS encourages at least 6 different applications these days). You should really choose a Uni you feel most comfortable with and have a liking for instantly ...after all you will spend the next 3 to 4 years of your life there! You will be fine and get what you want if you want it bad enough!! :)

  2. Thank you for you support Poggers! I think I'm starting to get my head around it now and I've been narrowing my University list down so I think I'm getting on my way.
