Sleeping and Puddles

Hello faithful readers. I must again apologise for yesterday's unprofessional complications, you must be content to know that yesterday's blog post is now online and the people responsible have been sacked.

Well, what have I got to talk to you about today? Well, not a lot primarily due to going through the entire day half asleep, something that seems to be growing more common in my day to day routines. In addition to this, a seemed to have managed to get through the entire day without once having noteworthy happen to me at all, a small miracle given the normal surreal nature of my existence.

I had a fairly average Biology lesson that dissolved into a fairly average Drama lesson. Following a fairly average free period, I had a fairly average lunch, followed by an English Literature and English Language, both fairly average.

I did have the usual pleasant walk home. I noticed on my way home that some of the puddles where still there from the storm last night despite the sun. I thought that it was a testimony to how much it rained that there were still puddles despite the bright sunshine. Then I thought that perhaps it was a testimony to how bright the sun was that there was only a few puddles despite last night's storm.

I arrived home, just before it began to rain yet again, played on a game a bit, had a nap, had my tea- Wait! That's unusual! I never have a nap!

Not on any general principles, you understand, as you know I'm a pathologically lazy person. I just seem unable to nap. Which is truly bizarre considering how much I love sleep. In the words of Jeremy Hardy: "I don't want to die in my sleep because I don't want to miss any." Sleep is simply one of the greatest joys of life. It relaxes you, refreshes you, allows you to view vivid hallucinations without having to purchase any materials that may kill you or get you into trouble with the police. It is an opportunity to have an excuses free break from this world before, obviously, the large and permanent break.

I'm beginning to see that sleep was not the well of material I was looking for, but I suppose it will have to do. I really should train myself to nap more, if only to alleviate my base states of being which seem to be: Just woken up, wants to go to bed and asleep.

Goodnight, and sweet dreams.
