Dear me, am I tired. For the last two weeks I have been robbed of my weekend lie-ins by my early morning Saturday job, paint-balling last week and a Burns Night only yesterday. I fear that this unwanted change to my sleeping schedule may be slowly killing me, but considering that I believe that everything is slowly killing me, this hardly counts.
I really, really want to rite something interesting, honestly. But I just feel very defeated and exhausted at the moment. I'd tell you that I'm planning something interesting for next week, but you and I both know that that's a lie. Ah, well.
G'night.

An Eventful Weekend
Oh dear, oh dear. I log on to my blog a day late to check to see what was what, and what do I see? Last week's post did not save. Damn. You poor, poor people. I can't imagine the stress and psychological damage that must have incurred as I robbed you of one week of uninteresting stories about my life or, more likely, a note to say that there will be no update. My sincerest apologies, I hope we can get through this.
Well, to speed things up: over the past two weeks nothing happened, until this weekend. You see, I have had an extremely busy weekend. On Saturday I had to get up early in order to go to Penistone FM. Early in this case is 6 o'clock, not a good time of day to be awake on the weekend. The radio show went fine and the new slot, 8-10, is actually pretty fun.
I then went to town to meet up with a few friends. Those friends however, being students, were not awake at this point, consequentially I had to amuse myself in town for three hours before they finally arrived. When they got here, the all wanted to look around the shops that I'd spent the last three hours amusing myself in. When that was done, we went to the cinema, decided there was no good films on and then went to CEX to buy an armful of DVDs to watch at the sleepover that night.
We bought a film we thought would be bad (Starship Troopers 3), a film we thought would be good (Children of Men) and a film we thought would be insane (Big Man Japan). In the end, Starship Troopers 3 turned out to be one of the worst films ever, Children of Men turned out to be quite good and Big Man Japan... Just watch the trailer...
I had to then get up at 7:30 to go paint-balling for a friend's birthday, not a good time to get up when you've been up all night watching films and playing DC Universe Online (which, by the way, is awesome).
Paint-balling was a ludicrous amount of fun. The first three matches, we lost spectacularly. The second three, we won gloriously. But we narrowly lost on the last one. Still it was very fun. We left at 5, congratulating each other on our Matrix dives and gunsliging.
So, that was my weekend. Probably a lot more interesting to do than to read about, but there you go. Next week: Something else no doubt irrelevant. Good evening everyone.

Exams
Well, I said that this week I'd have something interesting to talk about, and do I? Of course not, but, hell, that's never stopped me before.
The drama performance went quite well actually, considering that only a week before it we didn't even have a play. It's very liberating to think of it as over now. Now all I have to stress about are writing the coursework and all the other exams I still have to do. Ah well.
Speaking of exams, I have two next week: tomorrow and Tuesday. An English Lit and a Biology, respectively. I've just finished listening to The Kite Runner for that exam. The exam itself is actually a resit of the one I was up in arms about some months ago, if you remember, the one run by AQA. The Biology one is also a resit, but of an exam that I got a bad grade in out of genuine ineptitude.
I also watched Toy Story 3 today. Since I grew up with Toy Story and Pixar in general, I thought I'd talk about them a little bit on the other blog, you know, the one I never update.
Well, goodnight for now!

The Edge of Madness
Sorry about the lateness. No update this week, as I think I'm on the verge of a nervous breakdown thanks to this drama piece. Hopefully have an update next week. See you then!

Rising Anxiety
Erm, sorry. I was meant to update yesterday but I got confused what with the Bank Holiday Monday. Anyway, what have I been doing?
Well, I had a pleasant New Year's Eve, pleasant because it wasn't really a proper party at my parent's house, more just a social gathering, which, as regular readers know, I always prefer to a true party.
I've completed yet another ream of coursework, this time English Language. It's back to college tomorrow and I can already feel the stress levels at the back of my mind rising and rising. The exams are coming up, my drama performance is coming up (incidentally, I now hate the play that we've made, and not only because I've been having to repeatedly draft and redraft the script; I just don't like the play itself).
So, yeah, I'm beginning to feel the familiar anxiousness but, ah well, can't be helped. I'd say that it would all be over by Christmas, but it evidentially wasn't.
Goodbye folks.
