Well, hello there! I haven't seen you in, oh, I don't know, 24 hours. Well I hope that your feelin' good, I know I am. Although, admittedly, I'm slightly annoyed at the lateness of my entry. I'd sought of been intending for sometime now to move my posts up to an earlier hour and in fact was very pleased with myself yesterday for posting I think as early as nine. Today especially I had much to do when I got home as I decided to take some time out to watch Gran Torino, a film that I'll probably write a review of for t'other blog this weekend, rest assured however that it was awesome [Growls Menacingly].
The thing is readers, usually, everyday I sit down at my desk or armchair to write this blog, I end up distracting myself with as many irrelevancies as possible (typically involving Stumbleupon) in a hope that inspiration for a good topic shall occur to me. Inevitably none shall and I realise that it's far too late and I better write something quick and hope that a topic occurs to me as I do so.
. . .
So far nothing, but we live in hope. Hope that maybe, just maybe, one day I may be engaging in any way shape or form. Until that day however, I will remain as obstinate in my lack of focus and fervent in my relating of daily routines as today!
So, what did I do today? Well, I had another Drama lesson, the difference here being that we actually acted out our first scene. In English Language we watched an episode of Only Fools and Horses and commented on the status changes of Del Boy (So, yeah...). In English Literature we did a little more on metaphor and began to discuss the text we would choose to analyse (Personally, I've no idea what to pick). I also had a visit from the man who has kindly helped me to improve my Personal Statement (It's a short piece about ourselves that we have to send off to all Universities along with our grades). Which reminds me that I should probably get on with making the corrections he suggested to the paper before it really does become too late.
In any case, I bid you all a good night listeners.
